The initiative is promoted by the family Salvati, which formed the 'Association Scholarship Piero Salvati ”, e viene realizzata in collaborazione con la Sezione di Tortona dell’Associazione Nazionale Carabinieri, il Comando Provinciale dei Carabinieri di Alessandria, il Comando della Compagnia Carabinieri di Tortona e con il patrocinio del Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione, Direzione Generale per il Piemonte, Ufficio Scolastico Provinciale di Alessandria .
Anche questa edizione vedrà la collaborazione della Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio della Provincia di Alessandria , che ha confermato il sostegno all’ ”Associazione Borsa di Studio Piero Salvati” nelle sue aims to promote young talented students of the province, linked to the world dell'Arma .
The Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Alessandria contribute towards the costs incurred for the scholarships will be awarded to winners of the fourth edition .
The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of criteria title and merit and will be delivered to students who won Sunday November 28, 2010, during the annual social gathering Division of Tortona 's National Association of Police , which Salvati and Piero' been proud member for over forty years' participant and supporter.
The scholarships will be awarded as Piero Salvati each year based on academic results achieved by the applicants during the previous year .
They will be reserved for students enrolled in a children's section of the province of Alessandria 's National Association of Police or members of the Carabinieri weapon on duty at the time of application at one of Commands located the province of Alessandria .
Candidates, on the date of the scholarship must be enrolled at a Institute of Secondary Education at a public or private university or public or private (for those that have stood the test of maturity in the school year 2009-10) , national or international standards and will therefore be assessed and classified according to average marks obtained at the close of the previous school year in all school subjects (for Class V ° Average of votes shall prevail in the final ballot for admission all’esame di stato) .

Sono incentivate tutte le candidature maschili e femminili con pari opportunità e in caso di ex-aequo di valutazione saranno privilegiate le candidature che non hanno ancora ottenuto il presente riconoscimento nelle edizioni passate e quelle più bisognose, sulla base del reddito famigliare complessivo dichiarato (in caso di genitori separati dovrà essere anche indicato l’importo dell’eventuale assegno di mantenimento del candidato/a e del contributo alle spese famigliari sostenute dall’ex-coniuge non convivente).
Sempre a parità di valutazione, saranno privilegiate le candidature di figli di appartenenti all'Arma che prestano il loro servizio presso uffici e Comandi dipendenti dalla Compagnia Carabinieri Tortona or children of members at the 'National Association of Police section Tortona .

Applicants must fill out the appropriate application form attached to this announcement and sign the Statement on privacy. Each candidate must complete their application by sending a short letter (maximum one page), to describe their motivation to study , their professional aspirations and its relationship with music (preferred styles, any musical instruments and popular subject of study, participation in any band or choir music, etc.)..
The Board of Examiners will give an overall opinion on the letter and may award up to a maximum of 0.5 points that will be added to the media votes.
Registration with the benefit of the candidate at a school or course of musical instruction (eg.: Academy, music school, singing school, professional choir, etc..) Can similarly attribute up to a maximum of 0.5 points that will be added to the media votes (the candidate must produce a copy of the registration and results achieved during the school year 2009-10 at the music school).
The winners of this competition will be introduced at the awards ceremony with reading their letters .
Applications must be accompanied by documentation showing:
- achievements in school year 2009-10 (will authentic copy of the school certificate) in Institutes of Higher Secondary Education of origin;
- total family income (it will be a photocopy of / declaration and / or the income of the s model s 101, relating to 'fiscal year 2009);
