It's called Francesco Sciuto e frequenta il quinto anno del liceo scientifico di Novi Ligure il vincitore della prima edizione della Borsa di studio "Piero Salvati".Il premio gli e' stato consegnato domenica scorsa 25 novembre in occasione dell'annuale festa dell'Associazione Nazionale dei Carabinieri, sezione di Tortona, che e' stata celebrata con una Santa Messa officiata da Sua Eccellenza il Vescovo di Tortona, Martino Canessa presso la Parrocchia del Sacro Cuore in Paghisano di Don Roberto. Al termine della funzione religiosa e alla presenza delle autorita' provinciali e cittadine, i figli e la moglie del maresciallo capo Piero Salvati hanno consegnato un assegno di 1.200 € al giovane e meritevole studente, residente a Serravalle e figlio di un sottufficiale dell'Arma, che con una media scolastica superiore all' 8,5 si e' aggiudicato la prima edizione della Borsa di studio "Piero Salvati". Francesco Sciuto e' stato premiato dalla Signora Isabella Daffunchio in Salvati, vedova dallo scorso 18 febbraio, dal Comandante dei Carabinieri di Tortona, Capitano Sanna e dal Comandante Provinciale dei Carabinieri, Colonnello Giangreco. L'alto ufficiale ha espresso grande soddisfazione e un forte senso di partecipazione all'iniziativa da parte di tutta l'Arma dei Carabinieri anche per gli anni a venire. Egli ha ricordato che i valori che il maresciallo Piero Salvati ha saputo coltivare nel corso di una vita e che ha saputo trasmettere con cosi' grande chiarezza alla propria famiglia (l'onesta', l'impegno, il sacrificio ed il senso di responsabilita', la passione per lo studio e la sete di conoscenza) sono proprio la forza alla quale tutti insieme richiamarci quotidianamente nello svolgimento del nostro servizio, nell'adempimento dei nostri compiti, consapevoli che quanto di buono trasmesso lascia sempre e comunque il segno e che da cio' non si possa e non si debba prescindere.
